Loading ...This huge tire sits right off I-94 in Allen Park, Michigan between the Detroit Metro Airport and the city of Detroit. The tire was actually a Ferris wheel at the New York World Fair in 1964 and brought by train to Michigan in 1966 where it still sits off the freeway.
At over 80-foot tall and weighing in at 12-tons, the advertisement for Uniroyal truly is truly the World’s Largest Tire.

Remeber how excite we would get when we seen it as kids. I don’t remember where he were going or coming from, but I remember it was such a big deal for us. : )
@Robbie I do remember. We were in the back of Dad’s Chevy pickup going to visit Bonnie and our half brother.
Beautiful, may be in future some new Tyre was invent which is bigger then this one.
