I love Detroit. There’s just no telling what you might see on any given day. Here it is one of our first spring-like days in Michigan and right away out pops the… bicycles? Motorhomecycle? Wow, that’s thing is so strange it’s actually pretty cool. Makes you want one, doesn’t it? I bet General Motors could use a great engineer like that. See how he incorporated the traditional Fred Flintstone propulsion method while using a state of the art braking system?

It was the perfect day in August of 2006. J. W. Westcott Co. delivering the mail to the Calumet, a 603-foot, 5,800-ton ship. The Calumet was retirement and scrapped after 78 years of service in December of 2007.

That’s a 1973 Oldsmobile Cutlass-Supreme. Metal flaked gold, 350 Rocket and perfect body and interior. I believe it had fifty or sixty thoucand miles on it back in the early eighties when I had it. That’s my Mom inside visiting us in Georgia.
