The tire was actually a Ferris wheel at the New York World Fair in 1964 and brought by train to Michigan in 1966 where it still sits off the freeway.

At over 80-foot tall and weighing in at 12-tons, the advertisement for Uniroyal truly is truly the World’s Largest Tire.
